I was a part of KULALA Beauty Club from YOYOKULALA.COM

They were so nice by sending me Zoeva's newest eyeshadow and blush palette for me to try on and review them. So wala! After several weeks, here is the article published. Here I paste the existing post but you can read it originally on the website that I link below.

Without any further a due, here's the review by yours truly. Hope it would be useful and go treat yourself girl!

Zoeva’s The Basic Moment collection dwells in the moment of timeless elegance. The collection features a classic eyeshadow palette and an essential blush palettes. The colours on both palettes are all of natural shades with a touch of shimmer that impart a glow.

The Basic Moment Eyeshadow Palette includes 10 beautiful eyeshadows that vary from base colours in matte finishes to shimmering gold and browns that give extra drama to the eyes. This palette is very easy to use. At one glance, I already know that I can create day-to-night looks with it. The shadows aren’t the most pigmented, so you will have to build it up for greater intensity. On the bright side, it is suitable for days when you prefer subtle makeup or even the no-makeup makeup look.

Zoeva’s pressed eyeshadows have always erred on the powdery and tend to leave behind excess on the under-eye region, though that can easily be fixed with some light brushing and tapping. A tip from me is to use a primer to help the eyeshadows last longer on your lids.

The Basic Moment Blush Palette consists of three shades. Although it is a blush palette, I find that it works just as well as face palette. I use “Yet To Come” as a blush, “Liquid Clock” as a highlight and “Unfinished” for contouring. I love how the intensity is subtle, but shows up just right when applied on the skin.

I personally do not like blushes that are too red or too pink, so I love the way this blush adds the perfect amount of rosiness to my cheeks. “Liquid Clock” is a warm, yellow-gold colour that works well as a highlighter, but I also like it as a bronzer when I’m going for that perfect summer glow look. If you’re someone who love intense, over-the-top highlighters, this one may be too subtle for you. “Yet To Come” is rather pigmented, so a little goes a long way.

Overall, I love this collection. It is easy to use, so you don’t have to worry about it ending up unused in the dust. I would recommend this palette if you prefer natural, subtle makeup. Moreover, I personally love the simple and thin packing which makes them easy to carry around. Cheers to looking and feeling on-point wherever, whenever!

Here are some extra pictures of the palettes from me that is not included on the website.

Thank You YOYOKULALA team for having me and sending me products to test on. I had a great time reviewing it!
